Partnerships: SMEs and VCSEs in supply chains
Relating my car accident with the need for more partnerships!

Greetings lovely people,
I was hoping to share a post last week, but a car accident put a stop to that. All involved, including your favourite commercial manager (me, in case there is any question), are recovering well. The reactions afterwards starting me thinking about all the ways that partnerships are meaningful to me.
That afternoon I should have been on a call with a large digital organisation to discuss ways to improve the experience of SMEs and VCSEs in supply chains. I missed the meeting completely and, in all the confusion, I didn't message to let the other attendees know. Rather than dismissing me as rude and inconsiderate, their response was to check in whether I was ok (thank you Nicole, you don't know how much I appreciated that). Vinit of course, as a friend and business partner, was concerned for me and ready to work all hours to cover for me.
This all led to my brain conjuring up all sorts of emergency scenarios and contingency plans. It is clear to me that I need partnerships in my world, as does my company and any of the unpaid work I do to make improvements to the way small organisations can engage with buyers and large suppliers. So, please remember to email partnerships@vinmore.co.uk if you'd like to join any of the partnership lists I'll be putting together. Also, if you have any VCSE's in your contacts, please forward this post to them. I'd love to set up a VCSE list, showcasing all they have to offer the wider supplier community.
as always, more to follow....
